In 2025 there was a trend of motorbike thefts within the Rugby area often committed by organized groups. Professional thieves frequently "shop" for specific high-demand models. If you own a popular scooter, 125cc commuter, or a high-end sport bike, you are at a higher risk. This trend is continuing into 2026 with several reports of stolen motorbikes reported in this month. Forewarned is forearmed.
